Collecting very small wins

Big achievements get a headline. Small ones get overlooked because they do not make a dramatic story. But most days are made of small things.

Replying to the message you kept putting off. Washing the cup before it becomes an archaeological discovery. Beginning the task without finishing it yet.

Try noticing three modest things that went right today. Make them honest enough that you believe them. ‘Started the thing’ is a perfectly respectable entry.

No need to turn the list into another competition. If today’s list has one item, it has one item.

Small does not mean meaningless. Sometimes it means something you could actually do today.
